Approaching women can be scary. We all know that. There's no need to go over what we already know. But, what you probably don't know is that learning how to approach a woman is not as hard as you may think. How do I know? Well, take yesterday for example.

I was in my college's library. As I was leaving, I noticed a very cute woman at one of the computer terminals. Within three seconds, I decided to go over there and talk to her. Did I leave with her phone number? Nope. So what happened? I got her to contact me instead. I do this all the time.

I'm not saying this to brag. Only to show you that doing that is easy when you develop the right mind frame. I promise you, it's not as hard as it looks. Okay, ready to learn some of the tips I use when approaching women? Great! I'll share three of them with you right now. Here we go...

1. Get your mind right...

What do I mean by that? Well, let me ask you a question: how do you view yourself? No, I'm not about to get all Dr. Phil on you. I'm asking because it's practically a universal fact that if you see yourself in a positive light, the woman you approach will too.

Start to think about approaching women differently. You're a great guy, right? Well, then, you are doing her a favor by stopping to talk. Don't be afraid to think highly of yourself. Doing so only becomes a problem when you put others down in the process.

2. Be interested...

Most people will tell you that you have to be an interesting person to get the attention of females - especially those who are approached by men all of the time. But, what people don't tell you is that you can be more interesting by being more interested.

What do I mean? Well, when you approach a female, ask open ended questions... Ones that will get her talking. Take a genuine interest in what she has to say. She'll pick up on this -- if you're sincere. That will do a lot to separate you from the other men who approach her with only one thing on their minds.

3. Don't linger...

When you approach women, don't linger around too long after the initial greeting. They say the sign of a great story teller is their ability to leave the reader wanting more. Keep that in mind.

Leaving the encounter just a little bit early does two things. It shows that you 1) are different from the other guys and 2) value your time. Both of these are great things to have her think about you.

So, let's recap very quickly. To successfully approach women you should: get yourself in the proper state of mind, be an interesting person by being interested in her, and leave her wanting more.
